LIYC 2023 holiday events

2023 went out with a bang, of rain. We had planned on participating in the Winterfest parade only to have it cancelled. we then decided to instead particpate in the Pompano holiday boat parade which had some 75 boats, while it was not the best organized event, we had a great time on boart the commodores viking, “The Good Life”.

The good Life is decorated, almost ready…
Commodore Ray at the helm….
Gatsby ready for the LIYC parade.

We also hosted our annual LIYC holiday boat parade in Lauderdale isles. we had a great turnout and weather cooperated this time but the gremlins did pay a visit disabling the propeller on the lead boat Gatsby who had to be towed and ended the parade early. still. a great time for all as usual and we look forward to next year…
