Raft Off Lake Sylvia

Join our fellow club members and friends for a Raft Off at lake Sylvia in fort Lauderdale on Saturday June 9,  from 11am to ?   boaters can arrive anytime and either raft off a club member boat or anchor on their own.   don’t have a boat?  let us know by sending an email at the contact us page and we can arrange for you to join on another member’s boat.

Lake Sylvia is ideal for rafting around the perimeter or swimming, depth is about 6ft.   we can also take a group to the sand bar on the intracoastal if anyone is interested.  you can also anchor and stay overnight.   Lake Sylvia is located south of Bahia mar on the intracoastal, simply head toward Bahia mar and head south along the seawall.  there is a shallow area to the south of Bahia mar so beware, stay close to the seawalls on either side.   Board member boats will fly the club burgie, call on VHF ch 9 to let us know you are arriving.

Be sure to bring your own food and drinks, don’t forget suntan lotion and observing all safety precautions, feel free to bring guests but remember all members are responsible for themselves and guests.
