September boating event. Coast Guard safety check at the boat ramp.

The Lauderdale Isles Yacht Club invites all to bring your boats for a Safety check by a coast guard official on Saturday August 6 at the boat ramp in the Lauderdale Isles Landing park.

Come by boat or on a trailer, make sure you have all the required equipment to be safe on the water this summer. You will receive a sticker indicating your vessel has been inspected.

How many times have you been stopped for a safety inspection while out with family and friends, this is time consuming and sometimes embarrassing if you forget to check your safety gear regularly. This event is will save you time and money in the future.

No need to register, just come by the boat ramp on the water or drive up with your trailer, just remember that there may be other boats trying to use the boat ramp or taking part in the event so be patient. contact LIYC on channel 9 if needed to save time and make sure there is room.
